Week 28

July 13 – 17, 2026

Explore Page

New

Multi-Language & Dynamic Categories

  • The Explore page now speaks 10 languages. It picks up your browser language automatically.
  • A clean dropdown replaces the old locale pills — switch languages in one click.
  • Categories now pull from trending worlds instead of being hardcoded. Each world lands in the right section on its own.
Improved

Visual Refresh

  • World cards got a fresh look with clean square crops.
  • Creation prompts are woven right into the grid, so you can start building without leaving the page.
  • Interactive works show a live preview directly in their card.
  • Category thumbnails use the right cover image for each section — no more mismatched art.
Fixed

Stability & Mobile

  • The Explore page no longer crashes on duplicate CSS keyframes. The 500 error is gone.
  • Copy and share buttons work reliably on mobile screens.
  • Category thumbnail images load correctly from the right source.
  • The feedback form now matches the studio dialog wording.

Billing

New

Checkout & Subscriptions

  • You can now subscribe or make a purchase directly inside Neta Studio.
  • A guided checkout flow walks you through payment in a few steps.
  • Your subscription status and plan details stay visible from your account.

Studio

New

Inline Image Annotations

  • You can now add annotations directly onto images — mark up details, point things out, or leave notes right on the visual.
  • Annotations stay attached to the image so collaborators see your feedback in context.
Improved

Chat Messages

  • Every agent message now shows which model generated it and when — handy when comparing outputs.
  • You can fork a session from any message, branching the conversation at exactly the right turn.
  • The "worked for" timer keeps ticking reliably, even when you switch views.
Improved

Workspace Refinements

  • Panel layouts and interactions got a polish across the studio — spacing, alignment, and edge cases all tightened up.
  • Opening the skills panel now closes the chat panel automatically, giving you a cleaner workspace.
  • The chat panel stays closed when you switch views — no more pop-ups when you're not chatting.

Access & Sharing

Improved

Discord & Atom Covers

  • A Discord invite now lives in your profile dropdown — click to join the community any time.
  • Discord is tucked away from the main studio nav so it stays out of your way.
  • Automatic atom cover generation is now rate-limited, so fewer auto-generated covers clutter your board.

Week 27

July 6 – 10, 2026

Workspace

New

Nav Rail & Panel Overhaul

  • A new sidebar rail on the left keeps Gallery, Canvas, and Chat one click away.
  • Switch between views without losing context — each panel remembers where you were.
  • Panel presentation got a full overhaul. Everything feels wider, cleaner, and less cluttered.
  • The chat panel settled into a comfortable default width of 480px.
New

Fullscreen Workbench

  • Open a chat from Gallery, Skills, or the Portal straight into a dedicated fullscreen workbench.
  • The workbench stays independent from your board — no more switching back and forth.
  • All your agent conversations and artifacts live in one focused, full-width space.

Canvas

New

Layout Persistence

  • Your canvas layout now mirrors to SpaceFS, so every fork and checkpoint carries it forward.
  • Revisit a forked world and your cards are right where you left them — no rebuilding.

Portal

Improved

Empty State Refresh

  • The portal empty state got a luminous overhaul with animated rising fireflies.
  • The surface is now a soft frosted glass card — lighter, more intentional, and readable on any wallpaper.
  • Edit labels, clear controls, and toasts are simpler and feel less cluttered.

Collaboration

New

Session Participants

  • Participant avatars now appear in the world session list — see who's in a session at a glance.
  • Sessions sort by last message timestamp, not by when they were renamed.
  • Solo sessions stay clean with no unnecessary avatars cluttering the list.

Discoverability

Improved

Search & SEO

  • Explore page titles and descriptions got sharper with better keywords, og:images, and Twitter card support.
  • World pages now pull cover images from SEO content first — your thumbnails look right on every platform.
  • Trending worlds rank higher on the homepage so new visitors discover the most active communities.
  • A Discord invite now appears on the studio access page — come say hi.

Visual Polish

Improved

Agent & Studio Refinements

  • Agent panel content, cards, and artifact trays got a visual polish across spacing and typography.
  • Artifact grid widths and tool row alignment feel more consistent.
  • The remix placeholder composer is properly centered on every screen.
  • Session starters and artifact loading states feel smoother.
  • Default panel widths stay stable — no more surprise resizes on first load.

Fixes

Fixed

Gallery, Blog & Studio

  • Guest gallery detail panels now dock neatly below the top bar instead of overlapping it.
  • The agent chat input background is solid again — no more transparent bleed-through.
  • Blog posts are 30% wider and table images stay neatly within bounds.
  • The portal topbar height variable is fixed so auto-hide works reliably.

Week 26

June 29 – July 3, 2026

Agent Chat

New

Followup Turns & Queued Messages

  • The composer now queues your followup messages when the agent is busy. Your message waits its turn instead of getting dropped.
  • Turn boundaries stay intact through followup rounds, so your conversation stays neatly structured.
  • Bash artifacts — files the agent creates while running commands — now appear inline in your chat.
  • Send versus queue routing happens on the backend, so you're never left wondering if your message went through.
New

Generation Timing

  • Every media artifact row now shows how long generation took, right next to the preview.
  • Preview images fit their natural width with slimmer action buttons alongside.
  • When content shrinks while you're scrolled up, the view stays put — no more snapping to the bottom.

Studio Interface

Improved

Visual Refinements

  • Panel chrome and typography got a polish across the studio — cleaner spacing, sharper type rendering.
  • Loading states feel smoother with refined placeholder visuals and handoff animations.
  • Remix surfaces got tidier: placeholder cards, button labels, and state transitions all feel more deliberate.
  • Share chrome and music controls had their rough edges cleaned up.
  • Portal defaults are smarter out of the box — fewer manual tweaks needed on first open.
  • Remix labels now read consistently in both English and Chinese.

Account

New

User Detail & Redeem

  • You now have a dedicated account page with a hero background matching the studio access page.
  • Redeem invite codes right from your account page to top up your quota.
  • Already-used codes and redeem errors show clear feedback, so you know exactly what happened.
New

Handwriting Font

  • We added a locale-scoped handwriting font variable. English uses Caveat; Chinese uses Ma Shan Zheng.
  • Design tokens pick the right handwriting face automatically based on your language setting.

Fixes

Fixed

Mobile & Agent Chat

  • The center panel now stays properly centered on mobile screens.
  • The world title no longer appears in the mobile top bar, giving you more breathing room.
  • Artifact collections now show the correct cover image for works stored in a directory.

Week 25

June 22 – 26, 2026

Immersive Portal

New

Full-Screen Portal Mode

  • You can now view your works in a dedicated full-screen portal, separate from the studio board.
  • Gallery is the default view. The portal adapts based on your role — creator or viewer.
  • Switch between gallery and canvas without reloading. Your content stays right where it is.
  • The portal remembers your settings. Come back later and you'll pick up exactly where you left off.
  • The top bar tucks away while you're viewing. Move your cursor to the top 20px to bring it back.
  • Guests land in gallery view with simpler controls and no portal option when it's not set up.

Inline Styling

New

Create & Remix Placeholders

  • We redesigned the placeholder cards for Create and Remix so it's clearer whether you're making something new or remixing existing work.
  • The camera flies to your new card the moment it's created or remixed.
  • New cards auto-select so you can jump straight into editing.
  • The recipe panel closes on its own once you've set the remix context.
  • Placeholder cards got a visual refresh with better spacing and smoother state changes.
Improved

Inline Composer

  • Your cursor now lands at the end of seed text, not the beginning. Edit from where it matters.

Guided Tour

Improved

Tour Persistence

  • Once you've walked through the studio tour, you won't see it again on your next visit.

Adventures

New

Character Context

  • Adventure mode now pulls in character profiles. The agent tells richer, more coherent stories because it knows who's who.

Billing & Access

Improved

Invite Codes

  • Redeem codes are now called invite codes — a clearer label for sharing.
  • You can now hide the skip button with an environment flag, keeping access invite-only when you need to.
  • The redeem button renders reliably across all studio skins.

Under the Hood

Improved

Auth & Infrastructure

  • Logto access tokens now resolve at the edge, making auth faster and more reliable.
  • Agents can now request scoped permissions with execution grants.
  • Docker build cache is more stable, so CI runs finish faster.
  • Skills moved from the app bundle into space mods for cleaner modularity.

Fixes

Fixed

Canvas & UI

  • A blank canvas layer on page load no longer blocks the board. The fade mask now only applies to the vignette.
  • Native scroll offset is corrected for accurate pointer positioning.
  • Returning to an empty portal slot no longer brings back a work you've already cleared.
  • The world map point-cloud renderer now loads from the right origin and won't throw NoSuchKey errors.
Fixed

i18n & Studio Controls

  • We added missing English labels for the bug report image upload.
  • Portal text is now properly localized in both English and Chinese.
  • Cover generation handles the no-queue state cleanly — no more stuck loading spinners.
  • Retry flow and canvas controls feel smoother across the board.

Week 24

June 8 – 14, 2026

Canvas v2

New

Board-Based Canvas

  • We redesigned the canvas as a board. Cards now sit in sections with even spacing and clean rows.
  • Compact mode is on by default. Cards overlap slightly for a denser, more atmospheric board.
  • New cards always land next to existing ones — no more overlapping, sorted in the order you created them.
  • Your board syncs across devices. A quick one-time migration runs the first time you open it.
New

Selection Tool & Multi-Select

  • Drag to marquee-select several cards at once.
  • Clicking a card still opens it. Dragging draws a selection box instead.
  • You can add selected cards to chat, flip them, or delete them together.
  • A toolbar appears above your selection with quick actions.
New

Canvas Card Interactions

  • Right-click any card to flip it, delete it, add it to chat, or sort the board.
  • A hover menu gives you quick-access buttons on every card.
  • Press Cmd+D to remove the card under your cursor.
  • Copy and paste cards anywhere on the canvas. Pasted cards keep their cover image without regenerating.
  • Drag atoms and works from the file tree straight onto the canvas.

Imports & Sharing

New

External Work Import

  • Import shared works from other worlds as reference cards on your board.
  • Imported works open in a full detail view with their content and cover.
  • Share any work publicly with a link.
  • Trending works now appear on the Discover tab with better filtering.

Narrating Mode

New

Automated Camera & Story Framing

  • The camera now frames each section's title and description as your story unfolds.
  • It moves smoothly between sections with steady anchor-point framing.
  • Custom sections get their own camera slot and framing.
  • We removed the cap — sections can hold as many cards as you need.

UI System

Improved

Studio Interface

  • The top bar has a solid dark background, full width, and aligned toolbar buttons.
  • The left toolbar is now a single, unified pill with Create and Recipe Import.
  • Card detail panels sit under the top bar so nothing gets hidden.
  • You can drag the chat panel resize grip to make it bigger or smaller.
  • The agent settings dialog got a visual refresh with clearer guidance.
Improved

Navigation & Controls

  • Hold Space and scroll to zoom the canvas, anchored to your cursor — like Figma.
  • Hold Space and drag to pan. The hand tool icon lights up while you hold it.
  • The hand tool is now the default for new worlds.
  • WASD and arrow keys pass through to iframe works so interactive content gets your keyboard input.

Fixes

Fixed

Reliability & Polish

  • Cards generated in the same session no longer overlap.
  • Section titles stay put when the board layout updates.
  • Stale cover jobs now reset automatically and retry.
  • Auth failures show a proper redirect instead of a blank 500 page.
  • Shared works load with a placeholder while data streams in.
  • Card images refresh on their own after regeneration.
  • The chat panel won't pop open again if you've closed it yourself.
  • Deleting atoms or works no longer wipes the parent folder index.
