Pixel Art Maker: Describe It, Get the Sprite
Type a character and name a grid size; a finished pixel sprite comes back — square pixels, few colours, no background.

Where the sprite goes next
Neta Studio is a world you build by talking to it. The sprite lands there as a file you can download, rerun on a different grid, or drop into a scene with the character it belongs to — art and story in one place.
- A file per sprite. Each run leaves a PNG named after the character, so a whole cast stays in one place.
- Grid decided first. Grid size, palette and outline are set before the draw, not repaired afterwards with a filter.
- Scale check. Drop the sprite into a small world and walk it past a doorway before you make the other nineteen.
Questions, answered.
Is this a drawing editor with a pencil and eraser?
No. This is the other half of the job: you describe the character and the sprite comes back already drawn. If you want a blank canvas and a one-pixel pencil, PixilArt or SpritePaint do that well, and this page does not pretend to be them.
What grid size should I pick?
16x16 for icons and pickups, 32x32 for a standard character, 64x64 when the outfit matters. Say the number in your sentence; 32x32 is the default. Decide before you generate, because resampling a finished sprite down destroys its outline.
Does the sprite come back with a transparent background?
When you ask for one, yes. A flat colour behind the character is a choice, not a default, and the PNG keeps alpha so the sprite sits on a tileset without a white box around it.
How many colours does it use?
Aim for 16: three tones per material plus one outline colour. That budget is what makes separate sprites look like they belong to the same game.
Can I get the same character in another pose?
One run per pose. Repeat the description and attach the first sprite as a reference so the face, hair and outfit carry over — the model does not remember between runs.
Can I use the sprites in a game I sell?
The art you generate is yours to use. Do not generate a character you have no rights to, and check the licence of any asset pack you combine it with.
Can I animate it into a walk cycle?
Not on this page. The sprite sheet maker builds an eight-frame cycle from one character; use it once the still sprite is right.
How long does one sprite take?
A couple of minutes, most of it the model drawing. Rerunning on a smaller grid is faster than repairing a 64x64 sprite that should have been 16.
One sentence, one sprite.
Start from the grid, not from a drawing tablet.
