Talking Avatar Maker: Make a Character Speak
A portrait goes in. The line comes back spoken — mouth, jaw and eyes moving with the voice, in the art style you already built.

A voice, a face, and nothing left to rig.
Neta Studio is a world you build by talking to it — the cast, the places, the look. Hand it a portrait and a line, and it speaks the line first, then moves the mouth and jaw to match, and hands back a clip you can post. Ask for the next line tomorrow and the same face answers.
- The face stays put — a character card or a photo anchors the head. Hair, eyes and outfit do not drift between takes.
- The voice comes first — the line is spoken, then the mouth is matched to it, so the jaw lands on the words instead of moving at random.
- Any cast, any style — anime, painterly, photoreal, a character you drew yourself. The clip inherits the portrait’s own art style.
Before you give someone a voice
What do I need to start?
A portrait with the face visible and the mouth uncovered, plus one line of dialogue under about twenty words. If the character already lives in your world, the card is enough — you do not need to upload anything.
Can I use a photo of myself?
Yes. Upload a front-facing photo with even light and no hand over the mouth. The clip keeps that face and that framing; it will not invent a different outfit or a new background unless you ask for one.
Whose voice comes out?
Studio speaks the line with a built-in voice chosen for the read. You direct the performance in the line itself — [whispers], [laughs], [flatly] — and the mouth follows that delivery.
How long is one clip?
Four to fifteen seconds, one line per clip. A longer speech is easier to get right as several short takes than as one long one.
Can it laugh, whisper or shout?
Yes. Put the cue in the line and write the words the way they should land. The mouth opens wider on a shout and barely moves on a whisper.
Will it still look like my character?
The portrait is the anchor, so hair, eye colour, outfit and framing carry through. Faces that are mostly hidden — a mask, a heavy shadow, a hand over the mouth — give the model very little to match.
What can I do with the clip?
Post it, drop it into a visual novel or a game, use it as a greeting or a character reveal. It comes back as an mp4 with its own audio track.
Can I make a second line?
Yes. Reuse the same portrait and the same voice direction, and the next line sounds like the same person in the same room.
Give someone a voice.
One portrait, one line. The clip comes back speaking, with its own audio and the face you chose.
