A map, not twenty pages

The map is the index. 20 locations sit on one illustrated surface, each with its own detail scene and three points of interest. Nothing here is a static illustration or a wiki entry; every marker opens a place you can pan and read.

Start with Los Santos — a sun-bleached metropolis of glass towers, freeway spaghetti, palm-lined boulevards and gated hills, sprawling from the Pacific beaches to the dry… Then South Los Santos — the city's hard-working southern flats: low bungalows, corner stores, car washes and basketball courts, where the Families and the Ballas hold rival… The same surface runs on to Vinewood and the rest of San Andreas.

All 20 locations

  • Los Santos a sun-bleached metropolis of glass towers, freeway spaghetti, palm-lined boulevards and gated hills, sprawling from the Pacific beaches to the dry…
  • South Los Santos the city's hard-working southern flats: low bungalows, corner stores, car washes and basketball courts, where the Families and the Ballas hold rival…
  • Vinewood the hillside dream factory: studio lots, celebrity mansions, rooftop pools and a boulevard of Walk of Fame stars, all clinging to the dry chaparral…
  • Vinewood Sign Twenty white letters on a scrub-covered ridge, the postcard silhouette of the city and a hiking landmark that lights up at dusk.
  • Del Perro Pier a funfair pier jutting into the Pacific: a Ferris wheel, fish-and-chips stands, arcade lights and the long dark water beneath the boards.
  • Vespucci Beach a wide muscle-and-sand strip of skate parks, palm promenades, tattoo parlors and canals, where the city comes to be seen in the sun.
  • Maze Bank Tower the tallest obelisk downtown, a glass-and-steel monument to money with a helipad crown and a lobby polished like a watch case.
  • FIB Headquarters a cold federal cube behind security gates, where surveillance files, interrogation rooms and a rooftop antenna farm quietly run the city's worst…
  • Darnell Bros. a soot-stained textile factory of loading bays, sewing floors and locked back rooms, the kind of place where a crew can disappear for an afternoon.
  • Union Depository a granite fortress of finance with a cathedral atrium and a vault buried far below the street, the city's most guarded pile of other people's money.
  • Vanilla Unicorn a neon-lit strip club on the industrial edge of town, all velvet booths, mirrored stages and a back office where deals get done between sets.
  • Los Santos International Airport the city's international gateway: a glass terminal, endless runways and cargo hangars, with the ocean glittering just beyond the perimeter fence.
  • Blaine County the vast dry north: scrub desert, red mesas, dust roads and a pale salt lake, a county of gas stops, ranches and people who keep their business to…
  • Sandy Shores a sun-cracked lake town of trailer parks, a dirt airfield and a liquor store that never closes, baking beside the shallow Alamo Sea.
  • Grapeseed Green farmland and river bends in the northeast, with orchards, barns, a small airstrip and cows that outnumber the residents.
  • Stab City a ring of rusted trailers in the scrub, the Lost MC's fortified camp of bikes, bonfires, guard dogs and grudges.
  • Paleto Bay a small northern coastal town under forested hills, with a fishing pier, a diner strip and a big factory that keeps the lights on.
  • Mount Chiliad the county's twin-peaked roof, a bald granite summit of cable cars, hiking switchbacks and a view that swallows the whole map.
  • Fort Zancudo a flat military reservation on the western marsh, all razor wire, watchtowers, hangars and jets that take off at inconvenient hours.
  • North Yankton a snowbound border town frozen in 2004: a bank on Main Street, bare trees, drifts against the storefronts and a cemetery under the ice.

The twenty locations, as map markers

Each location ships as its own asset: a transparent cutout placed on the chart, and a full detail scene behind it. These are the cutouts exactly as they sit on the atlas.

How to explore it

1

Pan the map

Drag the atlas, or scroll to zoom. The whole world is one surface.

2

Open a location

Click any marker. The detail view is a full illustrated scene, not a thumbnail.

3

Read the points of interest

Each place has three of its own. Click one for its name and what happened there.

Three languages, one map

The atlas ships with an English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese interface. Switching language changes the marker labels, location titles and intros, all sixty point-of-interest names and descriptions, and the controls. The choice is remembered on the next visit.

Why a map instead of a list

A list tells you what exists. A map tells you where you are. Grand Theft Auto V is a route before it is a set of places, and the atlas keeps that shape: Los Santos on one edge, North Yankton on the other, with the rest of San Andreas between them.

What makes it different

  • One map, not twenty pages.20 locations share one surface, so you can trace a route instead of opening tabs.
  • Detail views that open. Each marker leads to a full 16:9 scene with three internal points of interest, not an enlarged icon.
  • Illustrated, not traced. Each of the 20 locations is a painted miniature with its own palette and silhouette, then cut out and placed on the chart.
  • No install, no account. It is a web page. Open the link and the map is there.

Questions

  • Is it canon? The locations and descriptions follow Grand Theft Auto V. The art is an original painted interpretation, not a screenshot or an official map.
  • How many places are there? 20 locations, each with three points of interest — 60 in total.
  • Does it work offline? The first load needs a connection. After that the page is light: one base map, twenty cutouts and twenty detail images.
  • Can I use it on a phone? Yes. The map and detail views are responsive, and the language switch stays reachable without opening a menu.
