Konosuba — Explosion Daily: Interactive Comedy Visual Novel
Kazuma Sato died. It was not heroic. He pushed a girl out of the way of an oncoming truck — except it was not a truck, it was a slow-moving tractor, and the girl was never in any danger. He died of shock. And when he arrived in the afterlife, the goddess assigned to guide him laughed at him. So he did the only reasonable thing: he chose her as his cheat item and dragged her into the fantasy world with him.
The Most Dysfunctional Party in RPG History
- Kazuma Sato — The "strategist" whose special ability is dying and coming back. His luck stat is absurdly high but only activates when it would be funniest. He has learned that heroes are overrated and that running away is a perfectly valid tactical choice
- Aqua — The goddess of water, healing, and catastrophic misjudgment. Her healing magic is flawless. Her decision-making is not. She once purified an entire lake into mineral water because she thought it was "dirty." She cannot learn from her mistakes because her intelligence stat is literally the lowest possible value
- Megumin — The Crimson Demon archwizard who has devoted her entire existence to a single spell: Explosion. It is the most powerful offensive magic in the world. She can cast it exactly once per day, after which she collapses and cannot move. She refuses to learn any other spell on aesthetic grounds
- Darkness — The crusader knight with impenetrable defense and the combat accuracy of a blindfolded toddler. This is not entirely her fault — she invested every single skill point into durability because suffering damage is, for her, the point
The Axel Experience
Every quest begins with optimism and ends with the party covered in monster slime, the quest giver demanding compensation for property damage, and Kazuma wondering why he did not just accept reincarnation like a normal person.
