Sonic the Hedgehog Interactive Map — Mobius with 20 Illustrated Locations
A hand-painted atlas of Mobius from Sonic the Hedgehog. Green Hill — The franchise’s home stretch: checkered soil, blue loops and palm-lined cliffs where freedom first feels like a road you can run. South Island — The classic island anchor: one body of land carrying hills, factories, casinos and scars from every Eggman occupation. Chemical Plant — Eggman’s toxic industrial complex: purple pipes, chemical seas and vertical shafts that distil Green Hill into product. Pan the map, open any location, and read the places that made it — one continuous map, not a list of articles.

What this atlas is

This is not a static image and not a wiki page. It is a single illustrated world map with 20 clickable locations, each drawn as its own scene. Open Green Hill and you get The franchise’s home stretch: checkered soil, blue loops and palm-lined cliffs where freedom first feels like a road you can run.

Open South Island and the view changes completely: The classic island anchor: one body of land carrying hills, factories, casinos and scars from every Eggman occupation. The same map holds Chemical Plant — Eggman’s toxic industrial complex: purple pipes, chemical seas and vertical shafts that distil Green Hill into product.

All 20 locations

  • Green Hill The franchise’s home stretch: checkered soil, blue loops and palm-lined cliffs where freedom first feels like a road you can run.
  • South Island The classic island anchor: one body of land carrying hills, factories, casinos and scars from every Eggman occupation.
  • Chemical Plant Eggman’s toxic industrial complex: purple pipes, chemical seas and vertical shafts that distil Green Hill into product.
  • Casino Night A neon entertainment strip of glowing tables, bumpers and jackpots — Eggman’s glittering distraction built on other people’s luck.
  • Space Colony ARK A ruined orbital colony and research station, half laboratory and half memorial to the promises made aboard it.
  • Black Comet A wandering dark comet of alien stone and organic tunnels, the Black Arms ark and its shadowy throne.
  • Angel Island A floating island held aloft by the Master Emerald, ringed by waterfalls that fall forever into empty sky.
  • Master Emerald Shrine The altar at the heart of Angel Island, where the Master Emerald rests on weathered stone columns.
  • Death Egg Eggman’s spherical orbital fortress, a metal world with a face and a cannon aimed at everything below.
  • Station Square A modern harbour city of glass towers, train lines and a waterfront plaza where the adventure era begins.
  • City Escape The steep streets above Station Square, where a runaway truck and a boarding pass launched the modern era.
  • Mystic Ruins A jungle-covered continent of ancient echidna temples, hidden shrines and a crashed Angel Island fragment.
  • Prison Island A grim military island of concrete walls, watchtowers and G.U.N. containment halls carved into the rock.
  • Lost Hex A shattered floating world of hexagonal landmasses, wild colours and the Deadly Six carved-up domains.
  • Soleanna A sunlit canal city of red-roofed houses, palace gardens and a long-running Festival of the Sun.
  • Crisis City A ruined future metropolis of broken highways, fire and tornadoes — the scars of a flame that should never exist.
  • Babylon Garden A legendary sky garden of Babylon ruins and antigravity machinery, home turf for the Babylon Rogues Extreme Gear racing.
  • Starfall Islands Five archipelago islands of ancient technology, cyber-space gateways and open grassland where a new journey began.
  • Chao Garden A quiet sanctuary of pools, fruit trees and gentle creatures, where every ring you bring grows someone small and brave.
  • White Space An endless white void with floating platforms, a place outside time where every crisis can be revisited.

How to explore it

1

Pan the map

Drag the atlas, or scroll to zoom. The whole world is one surface.

2

Open a location

Click any marker. The detail view is a full illustrated scene, not a thumbnail.

3

Read the points of interest

Each place has three of its own. Click one for its name and what happened there.

Three languages, one map

The atlas ships with an English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese interface. Switching language changes the marker labels, location titles and intros, all sixty point-of-interest names and descriptions, and the controls. The choice is remembered on the next visit.

What makes it different

  • Illustrated, not traced. Each of the 20 locations is a painted miniature with its own palette and silhouette, then cut out and placed on the chart.
  • Detail views that are places. The detail screen is a full 16:9 scene with three internal points of interest, not an enlarged icon.
  • Built for phones.Markers stay tappable, labels reflow, and the detail copy moves out of the way on small screens.
  • No install, no account. It is a web page. Open the link and the map is there.

Questions

  • Is it canon? The locations and descriptions follow Sonic the Hedgehog. The art is an original painted interpretation, not a screenshot or an official map.
  • How many places are there? 20 locations, each with three points of interest — 60 in total.
  • Does it work offline? The first load needs a connection. After that the page is light: one base map, twenty cutouts and twenty detail images.
  • Can I use it on a phone? Yes. The map and detail views are responsive, and the language switch stays reachable without opening a menu.
