Stranger Things Interactive Map — Hawkins and the Upside Down with 20 Illustrated Locations

A map, not twenty pages
The map is the index. 20 locations sit on one illustrated surface, each with its own detail scene and three points of interest. Nothing here is a static illustration or a wiki entry; every marker opens a place you can pan and read.
Start with Wheeler House — the safest-looking house in Hawkins keeps becoming the command center, the refuge, and the proof that an invasion can start right at home. Then Byers House — a worn family home that keeps turning into Hawkins's first refuge, its first warning sign, and its first proof that the walls are listening. The same surface runs on to Hopper's Cabin and the rest of Hawkins and the Upside Down.
All 20 locations
- Wheeler House the safest-looking house in Hawkins keeps becoming the command center, the refuge, and the proof that an invasion can start right at home.
- Byers House a worn family home that keeps turning into Hawkins's first refuge, its first warning sign, and its first proof that the walls are listening.
- Hopper's Cabin a hidden refuge in the woods where love and control keep learning each other's shape.
- Hawkins Middle School the Party's first battlefield, where childhood still looks intact even as another world pushes through the floors and walls.
- Hawkins High School the town's teenage stage, where status, grief, panic, and public myth all harden before they spill into the streets.
- Creel House a dead family home so saturated with guilt that every return to it feels like a dare.
- Family Video a video-rental store where aimless jobs, movie talk, and local rumor quietly turn into a useful intelligence post.
- Starcourt Mall a bright monument to consumer comfort that hides rot, surveillance, and war beneath it.
- Scoops Ahoy a cheerful mall ice-cream counter that turns into a doorway between teen comedy, Soviet conspiracy, and catastrophic summer war.
- The Russian Base the hidden complex beneath Starcourt where Cold War ambition turns Hawkins into a second front.
- Forest Hills Trailer Park a low-income edge of Hawkins where grief, stigma, and Vecna's murders tear open the town's newest visible wound.
- Lover's Lake a deceptively quiet body of water where map logic, fugitive flight, and one of Hawkins's most important gates all converge.
- Pennhurst Mental Hospital an old institution of confinement where the truth about the Creel murders survives only in damaged testimony and song.
- Hawkins National Laboratory the institution that taught Hawkins to fear what power looks like behind clean walls.
- Upside Down: The Living Room the Wheeler living room as the Upside Down remembers it: furniture breathing spores, the sofa where a boy vanished, the house that kept its outline…
- Upside Down: The School Hawkins middle and high school roped together in rot, lockers gaping, a gym that still smells of rubber even where nothing breathes.
- Hawkins, Indiana a quiet Midwestern town of courthouse squares, cul-de-sacs and Friday-night lights, ordinary by design, which is exactly what makes the cracks in it…
- Hawkins Tunnel System a buried organic network spreading under the town like a secret nervous system grown from the Upside Down itself.
- The Upside Down a breathing mirror of Hawkins: same streets, same houses, same lake, all preserved under ash and rot. It does not want to destroy the town.
- Hellscape the storm-lit space between worlds where Henry Creel stops being human on the way to becoming Vecna.
The twenty locations, as map markers
Each location ships as its own asset: a transparent cutout placed on the chart, and a full detail scene behind it. These are the cutouts exactly as they sit on the atlas.

How to explore it
Pan the map
Drag the atlas, or scroll to zoom. The whole world is one surface.
Open a location
Click any marker. The detail view is a full illustrated scene, not a thumbnail.
Read the points of interest
Each place has three of its own. Click one for its name and what happened there.

Three languages, one map
The atlas ships with an English, Simplified Chinese and Japanese interface. Switching language changes the marker labels, location titles and intros, all sixty point-of-interest names and descriptions, and the controls. The choice is remembered on the next visit.
What makes it different
- One map, not twenty pages.20 locations share one surface, so you can trace a route instead of opening tabs.
- Detail views that open. Each marker leads to a full 16:9 scene with three internal points of interest, not an enlarged icon.
- Illustrated, not traced. Each of the 20 locations is a painted miniature with its own palette and silhouette, then cut out and placed on the chart.
- No install, no account. It is a web page. Open the link and the map is there.
Questions
- Is it canon? The locations and descriptions follow Stranger Things. The art is an original painted interpretation, not a screenshot or an official map.
- How many places are there? 20 locations, each with three points of interest — 60 in total.
- Does it work offline? The first load needs a connection. After that the page is light: one base map, twenty cutouts and twenty detail images.
- Can I use it on a phone? Yes. The map and detail views are responsive, and the language switch stays reachable without opening a menu.
