TRIANGLE LOOP — An Interactive Psychological Horror Time-Loop Game

TRIANGLE LOOP — An Interactive Psychological Horror Time-Loop Game

Final Product: TRIANGLE LOOP

TRIANGLE LOOP is a playable interactive psychological horror game generated from the AVG-cases world in Neta Studio. An ordinary trip out to sea. A storm that should not have come. An empty ocean liner, the Aeolus, waiting in the fog. You are Jess — and you will board it again and again, until you finally understand: whoever wants to go home must first kill everyone. And home never existed at all.

The morning light is grey. Your name is Jess. Your son Tommy — seven, autistic — presses a crayon into paper, again and again, as if pinning something down. The doorbell rings. It is Greg, and the boat trip he promised you is waiting: Greg the skipper, Victor the deckhand, the married couple Sally and Downey, and Heather along for the ride. The sea is calm. Too calm, almost.

Then the radio catches a woman's voice, broken and shaking — "...help me... someone is killing everyone" — before the signal cuts. The Aeolus rises out of the fog, and the blood on the mirror reads GO TO THEATER. Every line of the loop was written live by Neta Studio's AI director as the game was built: you reply in your own words, the story bends around your choices, and the four loop truths decide which Jess walks off this ship.

Game Features

  • Live LLM Narrative — The entire loop is written by an AI director: the sea trip, the crew, the Aeolus, the mayday and the four loop truths were designed live by an LLM as the game was built, and every turn runs on Neta Studio's real-time AI pipeline (deepseek-v4-flash real-time narrative).
  • Free-Judgment Play — No fixed script to tap through. Each beat you write your own judgment — observe, recall, warn, confront, trust or refuse — and the fog answers. The same scene plays differently depending on whether you warn the crew or watch them walk into it again.
  • Loop Truths & Rule Marks — The ship hands you four truths to test across loops: 1·Mayday is Sally, 2·Go to the theater, 3·More than one you, 4·Kill all to reset. Mark each unknown, true, false or suspect as evidence pins into your loop notes.
  • Clarity & Crew Trust Meters — Every judgment shifts Clarity and the trust meters of Greg, Sally, Victor and Downey. Keep Clarity high enough to see the pattern — and keep the crew trusting you, or they will not listen when you scream at them to run.
  • 12 Mood-Variant Character Sprites — Six characters with live expression states: Jess in dread, hollow, masked and resolve; Greg warm and grim; Sally soft and afraid; Victor flat and menacing; Downey nervous; and the masked shooter who waits on the upper deck.
  • Cinematic Scenes & Multiple Endings — Eleven full-frame scene backgrounds — the grey morning home, the Florida dock, the sailboat, the capsized storm, the Aeolus deck, dining hall, cabin corridor, theater, crab beach and the road — and four endings to unlock, from The Next Boat to You Know the Pattern. Browser playable, no download.

Production Process Breakdown

Stage 1: World Buildingclaude-opus-5
AI receives a one-line seed prompt and generates the AVG-cases world — a studio library of interactive game cases. TRIANGLE LOOP was built from a single premise: an ordinary day out to sea, a storm that should not have come, an empty ocean liner in the fog — a psychological horror loop where Jess must kill everyone to go home, and home never existed.
Stage 2: Game Design & Artgpt-image-2
AI designs the game from that premise: the six-person crew, the four loop truths, the Clarity and crew-trust meters, the free-judgment input engine and the branching ending set — plus every piece of art: 16:9 cover key art, 11 full-frame scene backgrounds, and 6 full-body character sprites with 12 mood expressions, generated on plain backgrounds and cut to transparent PNGs.
Stage 3: Build & Publishdeepseek-v4-flash
Game built and published with one click, instantly shareable online — playable in the browser on desktop and mobile, no download needed. The live AI narrative pipeline keeps every loop sharp from the first grey morning to the last time Jess walks the Aeolus deck.

Scene Backgrounds

Asset Prompts

16:9 Cover Promptgpt-image-2
"Key-art game cover for TRIANGLE LOOP, an interactive psychological horror time-loop game (AVG-cases world). Cinematic photoreal, 16:9. A lone pale young woman with wet dark hair and a grey tank top stands on the rain-washed rusted deck of an abandoned ocean liner, seen from behind at three-quarter angle, fog swirling around her ankles; far ahead through the fog drifts her overturned white sailboat on an unnaturally flat, still sea. Behind her, towering through the mist, the enormous empty silhouette of a derelict passenger liner (the Aeolus) looms, a single sickly window glowing amber. A faint geometric triangle of light is reflected in the wet deck at her feet. Muted steel-blue, teal and grey palette, cold pale fog, film grain, dramatic chiaroscuro, dread and inevitability, no text, no logo, no watermark."
The Aeolus Title Background Promptgpt-image-2
"Empty exterior establishing shot, no people, no characters. A colossal derelict ocean liner, the Aeolus, emerging from dense fog on a flat grey sea: towering rust-streaked hull, dark empty portholes in rows, a weathered promenade deck, thin mist curling around the waterline, pale sickly light diffused through the overcast, a faint wake behind her as if she is still moving. Cinematic photoreal rendering, cold steel-blue and teal palette, filmic fog, psychological horror visual-novel background art. No text, no logo, no watermark."
Storm Capsize Background Promptgpt-image-2
"Empty exterior establishing shot, no people, no characters. A capsized white sailboat in a violent storm at sea: the overturned hull heaving in towering grey-green waves, rain lashing diagonally, spray torn from wave crests, a wall of dark storm cloud swallowing the horizon, faint lightning deep in the cloud, cold blue-grey light. Dramatic wide cinematic framing, filmic water and spray detail, psychological horror visual-novel background art. No text, no logo, no watermark."
Ship Dining Hall Background Promptgpt-image-2
"Empty interior establishing shot, no people, no characters. The abandoned dining hall of a derelict ocean liner: a long polished table set with plates, glasses and tureens, food still steaming under dim crystal chandeliers, dark wood panelling with gilt trim, tall portholes showing grey fog, dust drifting in the low amber light, a single overturned chair, deep shadows in the corners. Cinematic photoreal rendering, warm candlelight against cold fog, psychological horror visual-novel background art. No text, no logo, no watermark."
Jess Character Sprite Promptgpt-image-2
"Full-body visual novel character sprite source image for AVG runtime. One character standing upright in a natural neutral pose, entire body visible from head to feet, centered with generous margin around hair, hands, clothing and feet. Plain pure white matte background for clean cutout; no scenery, no interior, no exterior, no decorative backdrop, no gradient. Character: a gaunt woman in her late twenties, pale skin, wet dark hair slicked back, a soaked grey tank top, wet blue jeans, barefoot, a thin silver locket at her throat, hollow haunted eyes fixed forward. Cinematic photoreal rendering, damp cold light, psychological horror visual-novel art style. No text, no logo, no watermark, no frame, no border."
