Dellinger is a combatant and officer of the Donquixote Pirates' Diamante Army, and a hybrid between a human and a fighting-fish fish-man. He is sixteen, stands 145 cm, carries a 15,000,000 berry bounty, and appears as a supporting antagonist during the Dressrosa arc. In a crew built on theatrical cruelty, he is the one who enjoys it most openly.

What He Is

The Look
Shaggy shoulder-length blonde hair and a deliberately effeminate presentation: a white baseball cap with two horns poking through it and a dark fighting-fish mark on the front, hoop earrings, a long-sleeve shirt printed with a giraffe pattern, blue shorts, and dark purple stiletto heels. The heels are the joke and the threat at once — he fights in them.
Personality
Flamboyant, sadistic, and loud. He performs during fights because the fight is the performance. The disturbing part is the switch: the same character who is grinning and posing one moment is genuinely delighted by what he is doing to people the next. Unlike some of the crew, there is no tragic backstory doing the work — Dellinger is simply a child raised inside a crew that rewarded this.

What makes him useful to the story is the contrast. The Donquixote officers mostly have reasons — debts, loyalties, a past. Dellinger has a childhood inside the crew and a fighting-fish inheritance, and the series lets that be enough. He is what happens when a child is raised by people who reward violence and never has to develop a second self.
