Character Card Maker: One Character, One Page

A character card should read like a document, not a headshot. Name one and a designed page comes back — portrait, two stat charts and a short history in a locked layout.

What comes back is a document, not a portrait

The card is one image in three fixed bands. The top band holds the portrait in a polaroid, the name, and six identity lines: age, identity, likes, dislikes, personality. The middle band is a dark DATA CHARTS strip with two hexagonal radar charts, six axes each, rated S down to F. The bottom band is a short CHARACTER INTRODUCTION block built from the character's own facts. Nothing moves between cards, so a shelf of them reads as one archive.

  • A locked layout — Bands, charts and intro sit in the same place on every card, so ten of them line up as a set instead of ten posters.
  • Stats with real axes — Six combat axes and six tactics axes, S to F, drawn as filled hexagons rather than a row of bars.
  • Facts from the character — Age, identity, likes, dislikes and the intro come from the character's own material, not a generic template.

Questions before you name someone

What exactly comes back?

One 3:4 image with all three bands: the polaroid portrait, the two radar charts and the introduction. My run came back at 1086×1448 px. There is no layered file and no separate text layer.

Is this the same as a SillyTavern character card?

No. Those are chat personas — a PNG with embedded JSON, or a JSON file, that a roleplay frontend loads to talk to the character. This is a visual document about a character: a page to look at, print or drop into a site. If you want a persona to chat with, this is the wrong tool.

Can I make one for my own character?

Yes. Name them and give a line or two about who they are. If the face matters, attach a portrait or a character sheet — without a reference the model will invent a face, and it will invent a different one each run.

Where do the ratings come from?

From the character's own material: abilities, limits, role in the story. If a rating feels wrong, say which axis to change and rerun — the layout stays, the polygon changes.

Can I change the layout or the language?

The three sections stay, because that is what makes the set read together. The palette, the ornaments, the item line-art and the visible language can all change. Keep labels short — small dense text is the first thing an image model breaks.

Can I edit the text afterwards?

No — the text is drawn into the image. If you need editable copy, ask for an HTML or SVG card instead; the same three sections lay out cleanly in code.

What size is it, and can I print it?

3:4 portrait, 1086×1448 px in my run. That prints clean at A5 and comfortably at A4, and it drops into a wiki sidebar or a character page without a recrop.

Can one card hold a whole cast?

No. One character per card, on purpose — the identity lines and the intro are written about a single person. For a cast, run it once per character; for how they relate, ask for a relationship poster instead.

One character. One page.

Say who it is. The card comes back with the portrait, both charts and the intro already set.
