Animated Pokemon Cards — A 3D Card That Turns

Name a Pokémon and get an animated 3D card: a painted scene, the creature on its own layer, foil that slides as you tilt, and a back of its own.

Turn the Charizard card.
The card from the test run, published and running in this page. Drag across it: the dragon and the caldera sit on separate planes, and the foil moves with the angle.
Neta Studio builds the card, not just the picture
One sentence goes in and a small Three.js scene comes out: a painted backdrop, the creature cut out with real alpha, foil that answers the angle, and a card back — published as a page you can open on a phone.
- Backdrop and creature sit on separate planes, so tilting shifts one against the other instead of smearing the whole image.
- The laminate is calculated from the viewing vector. Four finishes change the sheen without touching the art underneath.
- Flip it: collection, initial, subtitle and edition print on the reverse, not a mirrored front.
Questions before you make one
Is this a physical 3D card?
No. It is a card built as a web page you turn with a mouse or a thumb. If you want the cut-paper shadowbox kind, print two copies and cut the top one — this is the version you can send as a link.
Do I need Blender, Unity or a shader?
No. Neta Studio paints the layers, cuts the creature out and builds the Three.js card. You describe the card; the engine handles foil, depth and tilt.
What do I type?
One creature, and the place it belongs to if you care. The card fills in rarity, edition and a signature move. “Charizard over a volcano” is enough; “a dragon of my own on a salt flat” works too.
Can I make a Pokémon that isn't in the grid?
Yes. Name any Pokémon, a character from another series, or one you invented. Gojo, Link and Saber are in the grid to show the card is not tied to one fandom.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Drag with a thumb to tilt it; the foil and parallax follow. The card is a normal page, so the link opens in any browser.
Can I use my own drawing or a character sheet?
Attach it in the chat once the card starts. Text alone is usually enough, which is why the composer has no upload box.
Will the card say Pokémon on it?
Your card is fan art, not an official card. It carries the name you typed, a type, a rarity and an edition number — no Pokémon logo, no official set symbol.
Can I print it?
You can screenshot or print the page, but it is built for the screen: foil and depth are rendered live. For a physical card, take a still to a print shop.
One sentence, one card.
Name a creature and Neta Studio paints the plate, cuts the figure, builds the foil and publishes the page.
