Quirk Generator — A Power, a Drawback, a Rating
Describe a power and get a quirk with a name, a type and a drawback that decides the fight.

Genshin · Emitter, B. Reads the last thing a plant saw. Cost: the plant remembers her back — roots follow her coat, leaves sprout from her cuff.

Horimiya · Emitter, C. Rewinds ten seconds for everyone in the room, but only nine. Cost: he keeps the memory of the tenth.

Jujutsu Kaisen · Emitter, A. Steps into one shadow and out of another. Cost: what he leaves in the dark stays there and learns his shape.

The Boys · Emitter, S. For ten seconds everyone in sight believes he is their hero. Cost: he believes it too, and the crash after is his.

Genshin · Transformation, A. Every exchange he survives makes him faster and stronger. Cost: after the fourth, he cannot tell friend from opponent.

Horimiya · Emitter, B. While she stands in a room, nobody in it can die. Cost: every wound they avoid lands on her when she leaves.

Jujutsu Kaisen · Transformation, B. Takes back one injury per fight and hands it to whoever he touches. Cost: they get it twice.

The Boys · Emitter, A. Drains every light in a block into one punch. Cost: she is blind for as long as the punch lasts.

Original hero · Emitter, D. Freezes one incoming impact while he holds his breath. Cost: at twenty seconds he is out, and the brick lands.
A quirk only counts when it costs something.
Neta Studio is an AI world builder. The quirk lands inside a world you keep — the hero, the costume, the class, the first fight — so it comes back drawn the way that world draws. The same rules hold in Teyvat, in a school romance, in Shibuya, in a room full of cameras.
- A card you can copy — name, type, range, trigger, drawback and a letter rating on one page, ready for a character sheet or a table.
- A portrait in costume — the drawback forces a design decision, and the portrait shows the brace, the mask, the glove that answers it.
- A first scene — the hero stands in a room and has to choose, so you watch the cost work before you keep them.
Questions, answered
Is this a My Hero Academia quirk generator?
It follows the MHA grammar — Emitter, Transformation, Mutant, hero names, letter ratings — but it is not tied to the series. Use it for an MHA fan character, a superhero RPG, or a world of your own. If you want the full school route, the dedicated My Hero Academia quirk page goes deeper into class and costume.
Does the drawback have to be a stamina bar?
No, and it should not be. A stamina bar is a number the writer can ignore. A real drawback changes a decision: it costs a memory, a name, a body part, a person, or the ability to tell friend from enemy. Ask what your hero would refuse to do, then make the quirk demand it.
Can I use a character I already have?
Yes. Type the person instead of a power — “my OC, a quiet boy with a burn scar” — and the quirk gets built around them. If they already live in a world here, the portrait comes back in that world's style.
Can it make a villain's quirk?
Yes. Villain quirks use the same grammar and usually carry a worse cost, because a villain is someone who accepted the price. Say “villain” and you get a power that is useful and ugly.
Do I need an account?
You can read this page without one. Generating puts the quirk in a world, so you sign in once — then the hero, the portrait and the world stay yours to edit.
How is the rating decided?
Honestly, and it is allowed to be mid. S ends a fight. C wins one exchange if the plan is good. D mostly keeps you alive. Most good characters sit at B or C, where the plan matters more than the power.
How is this different from a random quirk wheel?
A wheel gives you a noun and a verb. This gives you a name, a type, a range, a trigger, a drawback and a rating, then the person who has to carry all six — and a scene where the drawback decides.
What if I only want the name?
Ask for a name and the rest arrives anyway, because a name without a type and a cost is just a word. If you want it short, say “one line each” and you get a card you can paste into a sheet.
One power, one cost, one hero.
Describe the power you half-remember. It comes back with a type, a trigger, a rating and a drawback — and a hero who has to live with it.
