What is an AI text-based roleplay?

A story you play by writing. You get a scene, a named cast and a reply field; the character answers in their own voice, and the next scene is built from what you did.

Do the characters remember my choices?

Yes. The session keeps who you trusted, what you promised and what you hid, and the cast acts on it in later turns. Close the tab and come back — the thread stays.

How is this different from an AI chat app?

A chat app gives you one character who agrees with you. A roleplay gives you a place, a conflict and a cast with their own goals. Characters can refuse you, lie to you, or act while you are not looking.

Can I play with an existing IP, like Jujutsu Kaisen or Genshin Impact?
