What is an AI character chat?

A conversation with a character who has a name, a past and something they want from you. You write a line, they answer in their own voice, and the scene moves from there.

How is this different from the big character chat apps?

Those hand you a catalogue of characters written by other people. Here you describe the one you want and get a card plus a first scene built around them, inside a world you keep.

Do I have to write the character myself?

No. One sentence is enough — who they are and what they want. The card comes back with a name, a voice and a secret, and you can change any of it.

Will the character remember our last conversation?

Yes, if you turn memory on. Without it the character keeps their personality and the current scene; with it they keep what you told them between sessions.

Can I chat with a character from an existing IP?

Describe them and the world they belong to. The screenshots above are real sessions with Xiao, Yuji, Inosuke, Bakugo, Lillie and Catwoman. Fan work rules depend on the source material.

Is it one character or a whole cast?

Start with one. Other characters can walk in, interrupt or take sides, and the same world can hold a full cast when you want one.

Can I come back to a chat tomorrow?

Yes. The chat is a Work in your world, so it stays on the board and opens where you left it.

What if I do not like the character it writes?

Say what is wrong in the same session — too soft, too modern, wrong voice — and it rewrites the card and the opening scene.
