Which of these is closest to Wordle?

The first two: five letters, six tries, the same green-amber-grey feedback. Play those if you want the original loop with a different answer list. The other boards change a rule on purpose.

Do any of them need an account?

No. Each puzzle opens as a page, plays with the on-screen keyboard or your own, and keeps your streak in the browser. Nothing asks you to sign in before the first guess.

What actually changes between them?

Can I make one with my own characters?

Yes. Describe the world once, then say the puzzle should draw answers from its cast and places. The names you already built are the answer list.

How many words does a puzzle need?

Around 200 answers is enough for a year of dailies without repeats. Fewer works if the words are good and the theme is tight.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The keyboard renders under the grid and the board fits a 390-pixel screen without scrolling sideways.

Can I change the rules later?

Yes. Grid size, try count, the reset hour and the share format are settings, not a rebuild. Swap the answer list and the same puzzle plays differently tomorrow.
