Honkai: Star Rail Quiz: 12 Questions With Sources

Twelve Honkai: Star Rail questions with real answers: Stellarons, the Aeon blamed for them, the Express under two names, and what Penacony used to be.

What a Star Rail quiz should actually test
Honkai: Star Rail is a game about a train, a cosmic disease, and eighteen gods with competing interests. Most quizzes ask you to name a character’s ultimate. This one asks what a Stellaron is, who is blamed for spreading them, and why the Astral Express has two names — because those are the facts the story’s arguments are built on. Every answer below is stated in the game and recorded on its wiki, and every answer sits under its own question.
It spoils up to Penacony and the fifth world, Amphoreus, and it deliberately avoids power scaling. “Who beats who” is a forum argument; “which Aeon was absorbed into which” is a fact with a date attached. The questions get harder in the second half, so a group can play the first six and argue about the rest.

Ride the route instead of memorising it
The quiz ends at Penacony because that is where the story starts asking who is allowed to remember. The roleplay skill puts you on the platform with a crew that keeps its own version of events.
Why these twelve
A good quiz is an argument about what the story is about. Star Rail is about inheritance and misattribution: a disease blamed on the wrong god, a train renamed by a bureaucracy, a prison turned into a holiday resort. These questions are chosen to make that pattern visible.
- Cause over trivia — Who spreads Stellarons matters more than what colour a Path is. Every question here has a consequence attached.
- Names in both directions — The Express is the Chromatic Echelon; the playable Herta is a puppet. Knowing the second name is how you know the world is bigger than the camera.
- No power scaling — Questions with one checkable answer only. Where fans argue, the quiz stays quiet.
- Spoilers declared — The page tells you how far it goes before you start, instead of ambushing you on question nine.
The twelve questions
1. What is a Stellaron?
A mysterious object that causes massive changes to civilisations and ecosystems, and produces Fragmentum. The Interastral Peace Corporation nicknamed them the “Cancer of All Worlds” because they spread like a growth.
2. Which Aeon is most often blamed for Stellarons, and who actually spreads them?
Nanook, the Destruction, takes the blame. The wiki states they are spread by Xipe, the Harmony, as THEIR “Harmonic Cancer” — a distinction most of the universe gets wrong.
3. Which Path does Akivili correspond to?
Trailblaze. Akivili is the Aeon of that Path, and the Astral Express is the train Akivili once rode.
4. What does the Xianzhou Alliance call the Astral Express?
The Chromatic Echelon. It is the same train under a second name, which is how the Alliance files it.
5. Who repaired the Astral Express, and who did she pick up first?
Himeko, who found the abandoned train and spent years restoring it. Among the first she rescued was Welt, along with his companion Void Archives.
6. Which world is the second accessible destination?
Jarilo-VI, the frozen planet where Belobog stands as humanity’s last bastion against the Eternal Freeze.
7. What caused the Eternal Freeze?
A Stellaron. The first Supreme Guardian, Alisa Rand, asked it for help against the Antimatter Legion, and it granted her wish by freezing the planet.
8. Which Aeon is Jarilo-VI described as blessed by?
Qlipoth, the Preservation. Belobog is called the land blessed by Qlipoth, which is why its walls and its faith are the same thing.
9. Which world is the fourth accessible destination?
Penacony, the Planet of Festivities, in the Asdana system — reached through the hotel called the Reverie.
10. What was Penacony before the Family ran it?
An IPC frontier prison. The Family remodelled it into an interstellar transport hub and the gateway to the Sweetdream Paradise.
11. Who is Herta, and what is the playable Herta?
Herta is Member #83 of the Genius Society and master of the space station that carries her name. The playable character is a puppet of hers, modelled after her younger self.
12. Which Aeon was assimilated into another?
Ena, the Order, was absorbed into Xipe during the Swarm Disaster — and briefly became active again during the Penacony story.
The real subject is who writes the record
Read the answers together and one theme keeps surfacing: the official version is wrong or incomplete. The IPC names the Stellarons after the wrong Aeon. The Alliance files the Express under a name its crew does not use. Penacony’s holiday brochures leave out the prison. Herta’s public face is a puppet she made of herself. Even the Aeon count is a moving number, because Ena stopped existing as a separate entity and the universe kept the paperwork. That is why the wiki is such a good source for a quiz and such a bad source for a summary: it records the corrections, not just the claims.

Play the parts the quiz points at
Real works on Neta Studio, each one built on the same ingredients: a sealed space, a crew with secrets, and a route nobody fully controls.

Closed rooms in deep space
Deep Space Remnant Light puts seven days inside a sealed station, which is what a train car becomes once the doors lock. Never Stop is the same idea with the lights off: a night train that will not stop and a passenger who cannot remember boarding.
Maps and the people on them
Koprulu Sector Star Map is a sixteen-world atlas — useful if you want to see how a space opera organises geography. Starfall Return handles the human end: someone returns from eight years away wearing a uniform nobody will explain.
How to run it as a round
Split at question seven
The first six are setting facts (Stellarons, the Express, Jarilo-VI). The last six are politics and cosmology (Penacony, Herta, Ena). Six at a time keeps a group engaged.
Read the second sentence aloud
Each answer has a clause that explains why the question exists. That clause is the part people remember, and it is where the follow-up argument starts.
End on the platform
Close with the Express before Penacony. A quiz that ends in a score is forgotten; a quiz that ends in a departure time is not.
The worlds, briefly

Answers are cheaper than departures
Twelve correct answers is a good score. It is not the same as standing on a platform with a ticket you cannot read. The roleplay hub runs spacefaring stories where the crew remembers what you chose.
Built with the roleplay skill
roleplay runs the scene, keeps the crew’s version of events, and remembers which questions you already asked; world-builder builds the station, the route and the rules the scene has to obey. Honkai: Star Rail quiz FAQ
Are the answers canon?
Yes — every answer is stated in the game and recorded on its wiki, including the distinction between who is blamed for Stellarons and who actually spreads them.
How far does it spoil?
Through Penacony and the fifth world, Amphoreus. Ena’s absorption and Penacony’s origins are both on the page.
Which world is newest?
Amphoreus, the Eternal Land, is the fifth accessible world — an isolated sandbox created inside a project run by Lygus. It sits just outside this quiz’s twelve questions.
Why is there no “strongest character” question?
Because that is an argument, not a fact. A question with several defensible answers is a poll, and polls are not quizzes.
Is this an official quiz?
No. It is a fan-made page on Neta Studio, unaffiliated with the rights holders, and it uses original art rather than screenshots.
How many Aeons are there?
The wiki currently lists eighteen, and the number moves: Ena was assimilated into Xipe, Akivili disappeared, and Idrila is listed as fallen by some factions and missing by others.
