The Cyclops' Island — 3D Pixel-Art Game (Free, in Browser)
Homer's Odyssey as a playable isometric pixel-art 3D island: walk Odysseus to the cave with WASD or click-to-move, drag to pan, scroll to zoom. Collision, a literary UI panel and an animated ocean — free, no download.
What it is
An isometric pixel-art 3D game built from one written prompt: the Cyclops' Island from Book IX of the Odyssey. A small Greek island — sandy shore, dense forest, rocky cliffs and a cave — sits in animated ocean, with Odysseus, his crew, the Cyclops and their ship offshore.
Play it
- WASD / arrow keys to walk, or click the ground to path there
- Drag to pan, right-drag / Q-E to rotate, scroll to zoom
- Collision is real: you cannot walk through rocks, trees or water
- A dark literary UI panel tracks the character and the ground you are standing on
What shipped
A complete small game rather than a scene: the route from shore to cave is walkable, the characters read at gameplay scale, and the island holds a clear objective line — lead Odysseus along the sandy path to the cave.
Built with the 3D game builder
Every 3D world on this site was made from one written description and published as a page you can play. This one is the pixel-art end of the range; the same builder produces walkable planets, miniature dioramas and entire castle scenes.
